Internet Slow Until I Restart Modem (6 Ways To Fix
Sep 07, 2014 · Hey guys, I have an Arris TG1672G-NA modem with built-in Wireless router. Though speed is not a problem for me with my current plan of 300Mbps. However, Being a online gamer, I do have a question With the router, it is (download) 6900-7000kbps/sec and without the router it is 28000-29000 kbps/sec Thanks I'm working with what I assume is a pretty common Internet setup: a cable modem, a wireless router and a few Internet-connected devices. Lately, I've started being more demanding on my Internet connection, and noticed that using my router slows down my download speeds considerably. From the switch the network branches off to all rooms to support connected laptops and a DIR-655 2.4 Ghz router at the other side of the house. The download rate throughout the house, on the 250 Mb/s plan is 327Mb/s down and 20 Mb/s up, no doubt due to the speedboost.
Like others, we've been having slow internet download speed issues with our R7000 router. These slow speeds are when we are connected by cable to the router with the wifi off on the computer and the router or if connected by wifi to the router - it doesn't matter. Our internet connection is rated at 300Mbps/30Mbps cable connection from Cox.
